Our friends at Juvéderm have upped the ante in the dermal filler game once again. Introducing Vollure, a filler for nasolabial folds and marionette lines that lasts for up to two years. For anyone who has followed the progression of dermal fillers and others over the years, this is pretty exciting news.
Made by parent company Allergan, Vollure was recently approved by the FDA and added to the V-O-L product line from Juvéderm, which includes Voluma and Volbella. Juvéderm’s VOL products are unique in that they have the Vycross technology, which allows them to last much longer than some previous fillers.
Coming from the trusted Juvéderm family, Vollure is a great new entry into the market as it’s the first-ever FDA filler approved to last up to 18 months for nasolabial folds and marionette lines.
So, what is Vollure, exactly?
In short, Vollure is similar to Juvéderm in that it’s placed in the nasolabial folds (also known as smile lines or laugh lines) and marionette lines in the deep dermal layer. It’s what we consider a “softer” product than Juvéderm and is best for patients with mild to moderate creases. It’s the perfect middle-of-the-road solution for laugh lines that are just enough to bother you.
Vollure can be combined with Voluma, Volbella and Juvéderm to tailor the fill, softness and longevity desired by each individual patient. So, Vollure really is made just for you.
